This significant milestone was celebrated by Kyle Readhead, co-founder of Milk Road, who reassured investors by predicting a price of <strong>$150,000<\/strong> in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to economist <strong>Timothy Peterson<\/strong>, this new all-time high was crucial for <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>. Indeed, without this new progression, the market would have had to wait until October to see the price surpass its previous peak. Additionally, the crypto fear and greed index displays a value of <strong>71\/100<\/strong>, indicating strong investor appetite for risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Long-term holders will begin dumping the market once their returns exceed 300%. Currently sitting at <strong>200% profit<\/strong>, they tend to sell their holdings when profits exceed <strong>300%<\/strong>. Bitcoin could therefore reach up to <strong>$222,000<\/strong> before the cycle ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-wait-continues-for-altcoins\">The Wait Continues for Altcoins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the hopes of many investors, the season favorable to <strong>altcoins<\/strong> (cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin) is slow to arrive. CoinMarketCap&#8217;s Altcoin Season Index shows only a score of <strong>26\/100<\/strong>, indicating that <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>&#8216;s dominance persists in the market. Most other cryptocurrencies still struggle to find concrete use cases, hindering their adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, these periods of difficulty can also present opportunities to seize.
