Benjamin Cowen, founder of Into The Cryptoverse, forecasts a possible <strong>70% decline<\/strong> for the leading <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a> during the next bear market. Although this prediction isn&#8217;t guaranteed, Bitcoin&#8217;s recent history suggests caution is warranted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/09\/image-59.png\" alt=\"bitcoin\" class=\"wp-image-17473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/09\/image-59.png 1024w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/09\/image-59-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/09\/image-59-768x362.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>According to Cowen, previous bear markets have resulted in <strong>drops of 94%, 87%<\/strong> and approximately 77% for Bitcoin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The analyst therefore expects the <strong>next correction to be around 70%<\/strong> from the all-time high, though he doesn&#8217;t claim this with absolute certainty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Despite optimistic forecasts from some, Cowen urges investors to be prepared to take profits if the market becomes overheated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $117,010, showing a <strong>gain of 3.41%<\/strong> over the last 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ethereum-gaining-the-upper-hand-over-the-king-of-cryptos\">Ethereum Gaining the Upper Hand Over the King of Cryptos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cowen&#8217;s analysis predicts that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> will outperform Bitcoin<\/strong> toward the end of the current cycle, with superior performance in the coming weeks. He bases this on the <strong>ETH\/BTC ratio<\/strong>, which measures Ethereum&#8217;s relative strength compared to Bitcoin. This indicator has <strong>climbed 8.56%<\/strong> over the last 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some analysts believe Bitcoin might <strong>continue to follow its usual four-year cycle<\/strong>, characterized by phases of euphoria followed by brutal corrections. Others, however, prefer to remain cautious, emphasizing that global economic uncertainty and regulatory developments could alter the expected trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise, takes a more optimistic view : he anticipates a <strong>particularly favorable year in 2026<\/strong>, convinced that the long-term fundamentals of the cryptocurrency market remain solid. Yet, opinions vary widely. Some experts predict new all-time highs in the coming months, while others fear a <strong>possible bear market next year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faced with these contrasting scenarios, investors should keep in mind that volatility is an integral part of the crypto universe.
