However, the two new REX-OSPREY <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/\">crypto<\/a> funds performed significantly better, generating a combined <strong>$55 million<\/strong> in transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XRPR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XRPR<\/a> traded $37.7m on Day One, which edges out <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24IVES&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$IVES<\/a> for the biggest day one (natural) $ volume of any 2025 launch. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24DOJE&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$DOJE<\/a> is no slouch at $17m, which would be Top 5 for year.. out of 710 launches. Good sign for the onslaught of 33 Act ETFs coming soon.. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JaQP9ekFIq\">pic.twitter.com\/JaQP9ekFIq<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricBalchunas\/status\/1968794374285725826?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 18, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The REX-OSPREY <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/ripple\/\">XRP<\/a> ETF (XRPR) alone <strong>generated a volume of $37.7 million<\/strong>, an absolute record for a launch in 2025. The <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/dogecoin\/\">Dogecoin<\/a> fund (DOJE) also performed impressively with <strong>nearly $17 million traded<\/strong>, placing it among the top five launches of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"crypto-etfs-gain-legitimacy-with-regulators\">Crypto ETFs Gain Legitimacy With Regulators<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, these crypto ETFs innovate on the regulatory front by being registered under the <strong>Investment Company Act of 1940, known as the &#8220;Act 40&#8221;<\/strong>, rather than the Securities Act of 1933 typically used. This distinction allows them to obtain <strong>SEC approval<\/strong> more quickly, while subjecting them to certain constraints on eligible assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, XRPR and DOJE don&#8217;t invest directly in <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/ripple-xrp\">XRP<\/a> and Dogecoin, but through <strong>foreign exchange-traded products<\/strong> based in Europe and Canada. This indirect structure, however, hasn&#8217;t deterred investors from flocking to these new investment vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-new-era-for-crypto-etf\">A New Era for Crypto ETF ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>massive influx of capital<\/strong> into these first mainstream ETFs for alternative <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/\">cryptocurrencies<\/a> beyond <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> is an encouraging sign for the future of the sector.
