According to him, this would largely depend on the monetary policy implemented by the US Federal Reserve (Fed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Arthur Hayes says <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> to $3.4 million by 2028 \ud83d\ude80 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PE0cuCrXuk\">pic.twitter.com\/PE0cuCrXuk<\/a><\/p>&mdash; BitcoinXpress (@Saylor_Archive) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Saylor_Archive\/status\/1970461776098787826?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 23, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayes emphasizes that during the pandemic, the Fed massively purchased <strong>government bonds<\/strong>. This action significantly boosted the money supply. He believes the central bank could repeat this pattern, especially under a potential new Donald Trump presidency. &#8220;I believe the Fed will buy fifty percent or more of all newly issued government bonds, as fewer foreign central banks are willing to purchase US debt securities,&#8221; he writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, his calculations lead to a <strong>projection of $7.66 trillion<\/strong> in new credit created by the Fed by 2028. Added to this would be <strong>an additional $7.57 trillion<\/strong> from commercial banks. That&#8217;s a total volume of more than $15 trillion in additional credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-historical-correlation-between-credit-and-btc-price\">A Historical Correlation Between Credit and BTC Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayes points out that during the pandemic, the <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin price<\/a> closely followed credit growth, increasing by an average of <strong>0.19%<\/strong> for each additional dollar of credit. If this dynamic repeats, it could theoretically lead to a Bitcoin price of <strong>$3.4 million by 2028<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Do I believe this will happen ? No, but I think the price will be significantly higher than <strong>around $115,000<\/strong> today,&#8221; he qualifies. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $113,000.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayes expects more accommodative monetary policy in the United States and a new wave of lending over the next three years to support a <strong>fresh rise in Bitcoin&#8217;s price<\/strong>.
