Matt Mena, crypto research strategist at 21Shares, identifies several factors that could propel a new &#8220;Uptober&#8221; for BTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The US now has more unemployed people than job openings for the first time since April 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/D82jmvYP4L\">pic.twitter.com\/D82jmvYP4L<\/a><\/p>&mdash; *Walter Bloomberg (@DeItaone) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DeItaone\/status\/1963243287000563880?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 3, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the recent <strong>ADP report<\/strong> showed an unexpected decline of <strong>32,000 jobs<\/strong> in the private sector in September. This &#8220;downside surprise&#8221; strengthens expectations for another rate cut by the Federal Reserve on October 29, with a 99% probability according to the CME FedWatch tracking tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;As liquidity expectations increase, BTC tends to outperform,&#8221; explains Mena, &#8220;benefiting both as a digital safe haven and a high-beta risk asset when liquidity returns.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> has already gained nearly <strong>$10,000<\/strong> this week, rising from $108,000 to approximately <strong>$118,000<\/strong> despite <strong>$2 billion in long position liquidations<\/strong> last week. Overall, the asset shows a 26% increase since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outlook-and-risks\">Outlook and Risks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond October, the fourth quarter is historically the <strong>most favorable period for Bitcoin<\/strong>. This trend was reinforced by the approval of a Bitcoin ETF in 2023 and Trump&#8217;s electoral victory last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Cycles don&#39;t die of old age! However, he also warns about the risk of more aggressive monetary tightening by the Fed, which could weaken asset valuations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite fluctuations, investors will soon have more tools to navigate this evolving crypto ecosystem.
