Currently, <strong>more than 1.3 million <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/bitcoin\/\">bitcoins<\/a><\/strong> are held in these structures. This represents approximately <strong>$157.7 billion USD<\/strong> or 6.6% of the total circulating supply. A revealing example is Metaplanet, which recently announced <strong>the acquisition of $615 million<\/strong> in bitcoin, becoming the fourth largest publicly-listed holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> side, TANs have accumulated <strong>5.5 million ETH<\/strong>, worth approximately $24 billion USD. This represents <strong>4.5% of the total supply<\/strong>, according to data from StrategicEthReserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"possible-scenarios-in-case-of-a-sudden-downturn\">Possible Scenarios in Case of a Sudden Downturn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The question remains: are crypto treasuries truly a <strong>bubble about to burst<\/strong>, or are we simply at the beginning of their <strong>true potential<\/strong> ? According to Veronika Kapustina, the second option seems more likely. &#8220;A wave of euphoria typically precedes consolidation, then comes the real long-term capital,&#8221; she concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Far from alarmist rhetoric, this nuanced analysis highlights the complexity of the challenges and opportunities emerging in the crypto ecosystem.
