According to CoinGecko, XRP has plummeted by <strong>4.5%<\/strong> over the last 24 hours, now trading at <strong>$2.09<\/strong> after hitting a low of <strong>$2.08<\/strong>. This is the worst performance among the top 10, even worse than <strong>Cardano (ADA)<\/strong>, which lost <strong>4.4%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XRP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XRP<\/a> has hit a major support level at $2, successfully stopping the downtrend and bouncing back! \ud83d\udcc8 While the price may test this support again, a rebound and upward move seems likely. \ud83d\ude80 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bfbHAfLO6V\">pic.twitter.com\/bfbHAfLO6V<\/a><\/p>&mdash; BOBO (@BOBOObtc) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BOBOObtc\/status\/1906792362606473324?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/ripple-xrp\">Ripple (XRP)<\/a> is approaching a significant support level at <strong>$2.00<\/strong>, a price it hasn&#8217;t broken since May 11. Over the past week, XRP has dropped by <strong>14%<\/strong>, making it the best-performing crypto among the top 20. In comparison, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> <\/strong>(BTC) is down<strong> 5.5%<\/strong>, while both <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> <\/strong>(ETH) and <strong>Solana <\/strong>(SOL) have lost <strong>11.6% and 9%<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ripples-victory-over-the-sec-has-made-no-difference\"><strong>Ripple&#8217;s Victory over the SEC Has Made No Difference<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>March 19,<\/strong> Ripple&#8217;s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, announced that the<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/sec-drops-lawsuit-ripple-xrp\/\"><strong>legal dispute<\/strong> with the US Securities<\/a> and Exchange Commission (<strong>SEC<\/strong>) was <strong>over<\/strong>. Initially, this drove XRP&#8217;s price up to <strong>$2.6<\/strong>, but the enthusiasm was short-lived. Since then, the price has <strong>dropped <\/strong>by approximately <strong>20%,<\/strong> showing a <strong>&#8220;sell the news&#8221;<\/strong> behavior where <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/trading\/\">traders<\/a> sell after major events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even the final confirmation of the trial&#8217;s closure last week did not help XRP&#8217;s price recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Whales offloaded 1.12 billion <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XRP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XRP<\/a> in the last 48 hours! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DlxE1v1NI5\">pic.twitter.com\/DlxE1v1NI5<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Ali (@ali_charts) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1906344410687951003?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A major reason for <strong>XRP&#8217;s <\/strong>price drop is the <strong>large number of tokens sold by whales<\/strong> (big investors). Reports show that the whales have sold <strong>1.12 billion XRP<\/strong>, approximately <strong>$2.3 billion<\/strong>, in just two days. This massive sell-off, equivalent to about <strong>2%<\/strong> of XRP&#8217;s total market value, has driven the price even lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"should-you-sell-your-xrp\"><strong>Should You Sell Your XRP ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at the charts, XRP is struggling to recover. A bearish trend has formed, with resistance at <strong>$2.148<\/strong>. If XRP fails to surpass <strong>$2.15,<\/strong> it could continue to decline. The next key support levels are <strong>$2.08 and $2.05,<\/strong> with <strong>$2.00<\/strong> being a critical level to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"676\" src=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/XRPUSDT_2025-04-01_09-40-27-1024x676-1.jpg\" alt=\"Ripple XRP price in 1D\" class=\"wp-image-2051\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/XRPUSDT_2025-04-01_09-40-27-1024x676-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/XRPUSDT_2025-04-01_09-40-27-1024x676-1-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/XRPUSDT_2025-04-01_09-40-27-1024x676-1-768x507.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Its 200-day moving average stands at<strong> $1.80.<\/strong> If it drops below this, it will enter a &#8220;bear market&#8221; phase, where sellers are likely to take control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If <strong>XRP <\/strong>falls below <strong>$2.00,<\/strong> the next major support lies around <strong>$1.88<\/strong>. On the other hand, if it moves above <strong>$2.20,<\/strong> it could target <strong>$2.25 or $2.28.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The token is not the only asset facing challenges. Global financial markets are also under pressure due to rising trade tensions. Japan&#8217;s Nikkei index recently dropped by over<strong> 4%<\/strong>, and these economic concerns are also impacting cryptocurrency prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another issue for Ripple is the decreasing online interest. <strong>Google Trends<\/strong> data reveals that the search interest for <strong>XRP <\/strong>has hit its lowest level of 2025, despite Ripple&#8217;s legal victory. This indicates waning enthusiasm around XRP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, XRP is at a critical point, and the coming days will determine whether it stays above <strong>$2.00<\/strong> or continues to decline.
