Consequently, <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/pump-swap-solana-dex-could-revolutionize-memecoin-trading\/\"><strong>memecoins<\/strong><\/a> like <strong>TRUMP<\/strong> were not fortunate, as its price plummeted significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A whale \ud83d\udc33 who made $22.7M on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24TRUMP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$TRUMP<\/a> sold 309,514 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24TRUMP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$TRUMP<\/a> worth $2.63M at a loss of $14.06M.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CryptoCrash?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#CryptoCrash<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PX1yxlQgni\">pic.twitter.com\/PX1yxlQgni<\/a><\/p>&mdash; MonkeyPuppet (@MonkeyPupp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MonkeyPupp\/status\/1909170069138997612?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 7, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This drop in the memecoin&#8217;s price has plunged major holders into <strong>panic<\/strong>. As a result, <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/crypto-whale-sells-2-million-trump-mean-for-market\/\">TRUMP whales<\/a> have ramped up their activities in the market. In fact, according to Onchain Lens, a whale withdrew <strong>260,000 TRUMP tokens<\/strong> from Binance and then sold them for <strong>$2.048 million USDC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this whale activity, another whale proceeded to sell <strong>309,514 TRUMP tokens<\/strong> for <strong>$2.63 million<\/strong>, incurring a loss of <strong>$14.06 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In summary, two major holders have sold off as the <strong>President&#8217;s token <\/strong>is on the decline. These sales signal a <strong>lack of conviction<\/strong> as large entities are losing confidence in the market. Historically, an increase in selling activity has led to lower prices as the supply exceeds demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"impact-on-its-price-level\"><strong>Impact on Its Price Level?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As expected, the surge in selling activity among TRUMP whales has had a negative impact on the memecoin Solana. The token, in turn, dropped to a 3-month low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24TRUMP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$TRUMP<\/a> memecoin has now fallen 90% from its highs <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HWnuYfxHYH\">pic.twitter.com\/HWnuYfxHYH<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Coinage (@coinage_media) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/coinage_media\/status\/1909282947162648972?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 7, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time of writing, it was trading at <strong>$7.3.<\/strong> This represents a drop of <strong>19.84%<\/strong> on the daily charts. Similarly, it fell on the weekly and monthly charts, losing <strong>24.87% and 37.79%<\/strong> of its value respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With such sustained decline, the question remains whether TRUMP is poised for further losses or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"more-drops-to-come\"><strong>More Drops to Come ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to AMBCrypto&#8217;s analysis, the memecoin is registering a significantly strong <strong>bearish sentiment<\/strong>, with selling activity on the rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, the aggregate funding rate of the memecoin has turned <strong>negative<\/strong> after being positive the previous day. A shift into negative territory here means that short positions are paying long positions. Thus, there is <strong>more demand for short positions<\/strong> in the market than for long positions &#8211; a clear sign of strong <strong>bearish sentiment<\/strong> as they anticipate price drops.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"965\" height=\"532\" src=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/image-5.jpg\" alt=\"TRUMP spot flows chart\" class=\"wp-image-2823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/image-5.jpg 965w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/image-5-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/image-5-768x423.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 965px) 100vw, 965px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, TRUMP&#8217;s net spot flows have turned positive over the last 24 hours. When net flows for the spot market turn positive, it means that <strong>exchanges <\/strong>are seeing more inflows than outflows. Simply put, there are more sellers in the market than buyers &#8211; a market downtrend indicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selling activity may be further highlighted by a <strong>negative order delta.<\/strong> It dropped to a low of <strong>23.14k.<\/strong> Often, a negative delta means that more sell orders are being executed in the market than buy orders.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"676\" src=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/TRUMPUSDT_2025-04-08_12-18-24-1024x676-1.jpg\" alt=\"TRUMP price in 4H\" class=\"wp-image-2825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/TRUMPUSDT_2025-04-08_12-18-24-1024x676-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/TRUMPUSDT_2025-04-08_12-18-24-1024x676-1-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media.investx.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/TRUMPUSDT_2025-04-08_12-18-24-1024x676-1-768x507.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Overall, there is now a <strong>massive selling pressure<\/strong> from both whales and retail investors. In fact, the <strong>RSI<\/strong> has also entered <strong>oversold territory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increase in selling activity suggests that investors and holders are bearish and currently lack conviction in the market.
