By April 2025, at least <strong>108.9 million<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-news\/pi-network-pi-soars-80-in-days-rally\/\">PI tokens<\/a><\/strong> will be unlocked. Over the next 12 months, more than 1,566,790,905 tokens will be unlocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The average monthly unlocking is 134,391,107.35 tokens. In <strong>December<\/strong> <strong>2027<\/strong>, the PI market will experience the largest monthly unlocking with <strong>432,305,091 tokens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On February 20th, its price was <strong>$0.1071<\/strong>. Between February 27th and April 4th, the price dropped by <strong>81.58%<\/strong>. From April 5th, the market has been fluctuating between $0.4040 and $0.7894. Currently, PI is <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/trading\/crypto\/\">trading<\/a> at <strong>$0.6174<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"potential-impact-on-pi-network\">Potential Impact on PI Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Token unlockings can have a <strong>significant influence<\/strong> on market sentiment and price movements, especially for new and volatile assets like PI. With 2.8 million tokens entering circulation today, <strong>short-term downward pressure<\/strong> is possible due to the increased supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While some <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/\">investors<\/a> may perceive unlockings as a dilution risk, others may see it as a sign of <strong>transparency<\/strong> and <strong>maturity <\/strong>of the project.
