This amount will be raised through the issuance of common stock and fixed-income securities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24MSTR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$MSTR<\/a> announces BTC Yield of 13.7% and BTC $ Gain of $5.8B year-to-date, doubles capital plan to $42B equity and $42B fixed income to purchase bitcoin, and increases BTC Yield target from 15% to 25% and BTC $ Gain target from $10B to $15B for 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LgeMEd6Dr5\">https:\/\/t.co\/LgeMEd6Dr5<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Michael Saylor (@saylor) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/saylor\/status\/1918034658878513408?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 1, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the company holds <strong>553,555 BTC<\/strong>, acquired for a total amount of <strong>$37.9 billion<\/strong>, at an average price of <strong>$68,459<\/strong> per Bitcoin. MicroStrategy has achieved a <strong>13.7%<\/strong> return in BTC and a gain of <strong>$5.8 billion<\/strong> since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company now aims for a BTC return of <strong>15 to 25%<\/strong> and a BTC gain of <strong>$10 to $15 billion<\/strong> by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"widespread-bitcoin-adoption\">Widespread Bitcoin Adoption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since late 2022, MicroStrategy has significantly ramped up its purchases of <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>, acquiring BTC regularly every week. This trend has continued into 2025, with purchases almost on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Saylor and his company hold over <strong>2%<\/strong> of the total supply of circulating Bitcoin, making it the publicly <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/trading\/\">traded<\/a> company with the largest amount of BTC. Only <strong>BlackRock<\/strong>, the world&#8217;s largest asset manager, holds more Bitcoin than MicroStrategy, with around <strong>570,000 BTC<\/strong> under management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this <strong>$84 billion<\/strong> fundraising effort, MicroStrategy announced a new public offering of <strong>$21 billion<\/strong> in common stock.
