The IPO aims to raise up to $500 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recall:<\/strong> eToro made an unsuccessful attempt in 2022 through a SPAC, where the expected valuation exceeded $10 billion. This time, the Israeli company is aiming for a readjusted valuation of around $4 billion. A more measured market context, but potentially more favourable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IPO consists of <strong>10 million common shares<\/strong> of Class A. They are evenly split between shares newly issued by eToro and those sold by existing shareholders. As for the indicative price range, it is set between $46 and $50 per share with an option for an additional 1.5 million shares to meet excess demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The support of major investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, UBS, and Citigroup enhances the operation&#8217;s credibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"strong-figures-to-attract-investors\">Strong Figures to Attract Investors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>eToro relies on <strong>a strong growth momentum<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 2024, the platform generated $931 million in revenue (compared to $639 million in 2023), representing a 45% increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The net profit also surged to $192 million (compared to only $15.3 million the previous year).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of funded accounts now stands at 3.5 million, with $16.6 billion in assets under management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good to know :<\/strong> A significant portion of eToro&#8217;s revenue (at 38%) comes from cryptocurrency trading, on par with traditional stocks. However, the platform anticipates <strong>a slight decrease in crypto revenue in 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to eToro, this is a direct result of increased regulatory scrutiny, especially in the United States and Europe (MiCA regulation). However, they are still being closely watched, especially in the technology sector and companies exposed to digital assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To convince the markets, eToro will have to demonstrate its ability to sustain profitable growth. But that&#8217;s not all! The company will also need to navigate skillfully in the global regulatory environment and differentiate itself from competitors like Robinhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform can, however, capitalize on its flagship features (including CopyTrader) to support its <strong>post-IPO development<\/strong>. Its strong international presence, particularly in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, is also a significant advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In any case, eToro&#8217;s IPO on the Nasdaq marks a major strategic milestone in the platform&#8217;s evolution.
