At first glance, this may seem like great news for supporters of this <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/learn\/crypto\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a>. However, <strong>Vandell<\/strong> <strong>Aljarrah<\/strong>, the co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, states that this decision is not really aimed at helping people use or <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/buy\/ripple-xrp\">invest in XRP<\/a>. But BlackRock has not yet entered the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vandell Aljarrah warns that for those hoping that a BlackRock XRP ETF would greatly open the door to <strong>widespread <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.investx.fr\/en\/crypto-investing\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a> adoption<\/strong>, the reality may be disappointing. He believes that BlackRock may not have good intentions behind this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+TNBX8ef96gdjMGFk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Join our n<\/strong>ew <strong>group on Telegram !<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"limited-utility-for-crypto-investors\">Limited Utility for Crypto Investors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The co-founder simply explains: holding native XRP gives you <strong>much more than just price exposure<\/strong>. You can use it for transfers, liquidity provision, staking, smart contracts, and even hold and transfer it on your own terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, with an ETF, these real uses of XRP are completely <strong>out of reach<\/strong>. You cannot move it, hold it yourself, or do anything meaningful on the blockchain. It becomes a price tracking game, not actual participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the news that BlackRock could consider an XRP ETF emerged, Polymarket bettors are optimistic. The odds of an XRP ETF being approved by <strong>2025<\/strong> have now surged to <strong>81%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not long ago, these odds were <strong>77%<\/strong>, showing how quickly sentiment changes. And regarding a potential approval before <strong>July 31<\/strong>, opinions are more divided.
