As Bitcoin<\/a><\/strong> once again crosses the symbolic $105,000<\/strong> mark, its transformation as a safe-haven asset is accelerating. According to Jurrien Timmer, Global Macro Director at Fidelity, the flagship cryptocurrency<\/a> is now ready to succeed gold<\/strong> as the reference safe-haven value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ironically, gold and bitcoin are negatively correlated to each other. As the chart below shows, both assets have been taking turns lately, as measured by their Sharpe Ratios.
